Arcs Circuit

The Arcs Circuit lies at the foot of the hill crowned by the castle of Sant Ferran. It is approximately 1,500 metres long and eight to ten metres in width. Leaving behind the starting grid, at the end of the straight, there is a left-hand bend followed by two small upward jumps. Then comes a large step-up coupled with a bend, then a flat stretch followed by a right-hand turn and two more flat stretches, another turn and then two more, linking with a chicane and another flat stretch. After a long descent there is another upward chicane with a jump onto the flat. This is followed by a climb and a descent before the last jump of the circuit, a big downward jump that leads into the home straight.
The Arcs Circuithaswelcomed famous riders of a variety of specialities who have used it for training or havetaken partin competitions,including Mika Ahola, three times World Enduro Champion; TakahisaFujinami, World TrialChampion in 2001; Maxime Lesage, EuropeanSupercross Champion; Francisco Javier GarcíaVico, Spanish Motocross Champion; Joan Cros, Spanish Supercross Champion; and Xavier Puigdemont, Catalan Enduro Scratch Champion, among many others.

Conditions of access to the circuit:
Foreign riders, in addition to the licence from their respective national Federation, need an exit permit from that Federation stating their name and the validity period during which they are authorised to train outside their own country. In the event of not having this document, the rider is obliged to take out an individual insurance policy for each day he or she uses the circuit, in addition to paying the entrance fee.
